Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is also known as a dietitian. And the best way to demonstrate this is through an experience I’ve had.

I had a client who wanted to lose weight, they had told me they had been to a registered dietitian and one piece of the plan was to switch from drinking Coke to Coke Zero.

While this may work from a simple caloric restriction, it’s well-known that the artificial sweeteners in drinks like Coke Zero spike your cravings for a sweeter taste, affecting blood sugar and in turn weight management.

As a holistic nutritionist, I work to provide you with the right tools and strategies to eat well, and have a good relationship with foods and beverages.
